Private Coaching

What we do

We provide focused, one-on-one coaching for clients who need strategy, document review, and practical next steps for their Canadian immigration matter.

Our private coaching sessions are built around your case. We:

  • Clarify the best application pathway
  • Review supporting documents and letters
  • Produce a case-specific action plan you can follow

Common coaching topics you can book with us include:

  • One-on-one strategy sessions for family sponsorships, skilled worker/Express Entry, provincial nominee streams, business/investor pathways, and temporary visas (visitor, student, work permits)
  • Document review and letter drafting (sponsor letters, personal statements, affidavits, submission cover letters)
  • Case-specific action plans with prioritized to-do items and timeline expectations
  • Question-and-answer follow-ups after the session to clarify next steps

Who leads the coaching

Attorney Henry Moyal leads our immigration services. Henry has worked on hundreds of immigration matters and regularly travels to meet clients and to present seminars on Canadian immigration law.

We use that experience to tailor practical, legally grounded strategies for each client.

What to expect in a coaching session

Before the session

We ask you to:

  • Complete a brief intake (we use our Free Assessment page for initial information)
  • Upload any existing documents or refusal letters so we can review them before we meet

During the session

We:

  • Diagnose your case
  • Explain realistic options
  • Identify required documents
  • Advise on timing and procedural risks

If drafting is needed (supporting letters, affidavits, or a submission cover letter), we will outline what we can prepare for you.

After the session

We provide an action list and (depending on the package you choose) a limited number of follow-up clarifications by email or scheduled call.

Timelines and processing times

Processing times depend on:

  • The application category
  • The time it takes you to gather documents
  • IRCC processing times

At our office we aim to prepare files for the fastest available processing stream and to submit to the most appropriate visa office when applicable.

Types of matters appropriate for private coaching

We commonly use private coaching for:

  • Complex family sponsorship and reunification cases
  • Express Entry and Provincial Nominee strategy
  • Work permit and study permit strategy including bridging/exemptions
  • Business and investor options
  • Humanitarian & compassionate considerations and appeals
  • Preparing responses to requests for medicals, biometrics, or additional documents

If you are unsure whether coaching or full representation is right for you, start with the Free Assessment (see below) and we will advise whether a coaching session or an ongoing retainer is more appropriate.

Typical client preparation checklist

What we ask you to bring or upload before the session:

  • Copy of passports and identity documents
  • Any prior refusals, refusal letters, or IRCC correspondence
  • Employment letters, contracts, or pay stubs (if applicable)
  • Proof of relationship (for sponsorship matters)
  • Any existing applications or file numbers

Bringing these documents to the intake step saves time and lets us focus the session on strategy and drafting.

What’s included vs. what may require a full retainer

Coaching sessions focus on strategy, document review, and limited drafting.

Extensive ongoing file management, representation in hearings, or long drafting projects are normally provided under a separate retainer.

If your matter requires ongoing representation after the coaching session, we will provide a clear fee estimate and retainer terms.

Next step — how to get started

  1. Complete the Free Assessment: https://moyal.com/free-assessment/ and indicate you want private coaching.
  2. Upload the documents listed above.
  3. We will contact you to schedule the session and confirm whether any additional pre-session review or preparation is recommended.
