Appeals & Removals

We handle appeals and removal-order matters as part of our Canadian immigration practice. Below is how we operate, what you should expect at intake, and the next steps if you need representation.

Who handles these matters

We are the Law Offices of Moyal & Moyal. Attorney Henry Moyal practices exclusively in Canadian immigration law and handles a broad range of immigration matters each year, including appeals and removal-order work.

Typical services we provide in appeals & removals (how we work)

  • Intake and case assessment: We begin with a Free Assessment or initial consultation. During intake we confirm the decision(s) you received, deadlines, and whether an appeal or other remedy is available.
  • Document review and case drafting: We review the decision/notice you received and your file, and we prepare the necessary submissions or skeleton arguments required for the next procedural step.
  • Pre-hearing preparation: We prepare a clear outline of the issues, witness statements/affidavits (if required), and provide preparation for you and any witnesses who will testify.
  • Full representation at hearing or on appeal: We appear on behalf of clients and make written and oral submissions on their behalf.
  • Case management and follow-up: We handle filings, correspond with the relevant tribunal or court, and update you on timelines and outcomes.

What to bring to your first appointment

Bring whatever official documents relate to the decision you received and your immigration history. At a minimum, that usually includes:

  • The decision letter or removal order you received (all pages)
  • Any notices of hearing or appeal that were issued to you
  • Copies of previously filed submissions or applications related to the matter
  • Passports, ID, and any documents proving your status/time in Canada
  • Contact details of any witnesses (if relevant)

If you are unsure what to bring, start with our Free Assessment or contact us and select the appeals-related subject so our intake team can advise.
